Final Year Project
Project Title
Foodrive
Description
My capstone project is about food surplus; reducing wastage and rerouting it to organizations that require food. This model is inspired by the Robin Hood Army, where they physically collect excess food and transport it. Our project builds on this with an automated system that follows the model of the company Careem. Through our app, a contributor is able to select the location and the quantity of food, thereby creating a request for a volunteer to pick the food up. They will then drop it off at the location specified using the built-in map system in the app.
